Zenato Winery: A Legacy of Quality in Valpolicella
Founding of Zenato Winery
It was in 1960 that Sergio Zenato founded the winery which now bears his name in the famous winegrowing region of Valpolicella, in the province of Venice.
A Family Tradition of Excellence
Dedication, passion and constantly striving for the highest quality: a few words which characterise the work and love of wine that Sergio has passed down to his children, Alberto and Nadia, who are now in charge of the family winery. Spread over three separate estates in Lugana, close to Verona and in the Valpolicella region, Zenato produces a range of wines which are true to the region of Venice, in the image of the famous Amarone Riserva Sergio Zenato, of which each vintage produced earns sky-high scores and awards like no other.
The Passion Behind Exceptional Wines
Although the soil conditions, microclimate and low levels of humidity ideal for the passerillage of the grapes go some way towards explaining the excellent quality of Zenato’s wines, it is first and foremost the sheer passion, rigour and meticulous manual labour which give the wines their exceptional quality recognized worldwide.
